“My professional life has been shaped around dentistry and functional medicine. I see the mouth as part of our body and have deep respect for nature and our part in it. I am deeply humbled by what nature can do and how it supports and cares for us if given a chance.

As part of my professional experience in Namibia, I learned that most people just want to be respected and understood. To be a good healer, there must be a deep sense of trust between the doctor and the patient. This can only be achieved by brutal honesty. No patient comes to us for a nice story. They want help and care. Sadly, this has been eroded in many areas of healthcare over time, especially during the last three years. Trust has been destroyed, explanations are rare, and patients are left to sort out their own troubles. It is my mission to be available to our patients and to rekindle the care, trust, and respect that has been the ancient foundation for any healing modality. Basically, to be a doctor that honors and practices the Hippocratic Oath.”

“The past 13 years I have spent practicing dentistry, or should I say, lived dentistry. Eight of those years I had the privilege to do this in the practice ZMK in Kassel, Germany. When I left we were around 90 staff members. Here I had the opportunity to practice general dentistry, orthodontics, total rehabilitations, implantology, and surgical dentistry. I could learn from great mentors and was able to partake in courses across Europe. Through this, I could build up extensive skills and knowledge in orthodontics, implant dentistry, as well as biological dentistry.
